“I love working with my hands,” explains Dr. Godar when asked why he pursued dentistry—specifically dental implants. His practice focus—sedation dentistry and implant-retained overdentures—requires precise motor skills, patience, and expert problem-solving abilities.
Perhaps his years as a collegiate wrestler honed these skills? Perhaps not. One thing is certain, Dr. Godar is known to excel when presented with the more challenging cases. His patients would tell you that he is detail oriented, thorough, and devises personalized action plans to preserve their smiles—coupled with an enormous amount of individualized attention.
And, Dr. Godar is rewarded for his work—with brownies made by his staff. “That, and seeing smiles return to the faces of my patients, are all the ‘reward’ I need.”
In his leisure time, Dr. Godar enjoys scuba diving and skiing.
Dr. Godar’s dental care tip is for people with limited dexterity: “Use a toothbrush sponge with mouthwash.”
