DDS, University of Illinois College of Dentistry, 1981
Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry
Fellow in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry
A Colonel in the U.S. Army, and an Eagle Scout, Dr. Horton completed his residency in pediatric dentistry at the Madigan Army Medical Center. "I was always interested in dentistry because I wanted to work one-on-one with people. But once I recognized the rewards of making a positive influence in a child's life, I focused on pediatric dentistry," he explains. He works hard to use his experience as a dentist and father to make every child feel special because, he adds, "there's nothing like seeing a child's face light up at his or her dental appointment." Dr. Horton enjoys bicycling and Nordic skiing, and he and his family are active in the Marshfield arts community.
