Dental Clinic of Marshfield Adds New Periodontist to Staff

The Dental Clinic of Marshfield - providing comprehensive, lifetime dental care in one location - announces that Dr. Mark H. Baumgartner, D.M.D, M.S., has joined their staff. Dr. Baumgartner is a periodontist who performs dental implant, periodontal and cosmetic surgeries as well.

"We've seen a growing demand in our region for dental implants and cosmetic surgeries as people become more aware of the treatment options available to them," notes Neil Armitage, Clinic Administrator. "When people have poor oral health, they often have to limit what they eat because it's just too uncomfortable for them to chew. Dr. Baumgartner's services give our patients another option - he specializes in periodontal disease and can provide them with implants and treatment that allows them to sink their teeth into their favorite meals again."

Dr. Baumgartner has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a D.M.D from Southern Illinois University, as well as an M.S. in Periodontics from Saint Louis University.
