Those of you looking for an easy-to-talk-to dentist who can put the fun back into your dental checkups—Dr. Kracht, a former rugby player who played teams from across American, England, Australia, and South Africa, is ready to take on your individual challenges—with you as an active partner in the determination and course of your dental treatment.

While collaboration with his patients is a key component to his practice, Dr. Kracht is also measured in his approach to treatment decisions and believes that, “Once a tooth has a cavity, and is restored, it is never the same. My treatment philosophy is conservative in the respect that it is best to try to save and maintain as much of my patient’s natural tooth structure and oral tissue as possible.”

Dr. Kracht’s staff and patients will tell you that he is fun, energetic, and his compassion immediately puts them at ease. They’ll also tell you that he is extremely patient and takes time to answer questions and fully explain procedures and options so they are understood.

Dr. Kracht is married and volunteers his time to Healthy Smiles, and making mouth guards for local high school athletes. He is also an Alumni of Leadership Marshfield and involved in the community’s Movies in the Park, and coaching his two children’s athletic teams. He enjoys reading, cooking, weightlifting, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, swimming, and playing guitar.

Dr. Kracht’s tip for dental health: “Be consistent. Brush as much as possible and try to floss regularly.”
