Where it all began

In 1967, with three dental professionals - John Lueck, Bob Koller and Roy Jennejohn - in search of a more effective way to deliver complete dental care. What each of them had realized was that getting patients to attend to their oral health care was a difficult endeavor. People underestimated the importance of oral health and avoided dentists because

• it wasn't convenient
• they didn't trust those working on their teeth
• they feared the process
• they didn't understand how dental health related to overall health

The Dental Clinic of Marshfield SC was established to make a difference in dental care for the public - to make care convenient and comfortable, to establish trusting relationships with clients and to educate the public. On July 7, 1969 the comprehensive practice was opened. By 1979, a nearly 8,700 square-foot addition was needed to support the growing clientele and expanding staff.

Today, the Dental Clinic of Marshfield houses nearly 140 support and professional staff.
